I got the printer yesterday. I had to get a new printer because my mx532 won't work with my new chromebook. So, set it up and after a lot of agravation, the chromebook sees it for print and scan. Whoopee. I print my first doc and the print head is obviously mis-aligned. So, I do the print alignment routine and the print alignment page is also mis-aligned, but I finish the routine. It's still mis-aligned and there doesn't appear to be anything I can do about it.
I'm inclined to return the printer and try again. Any other ideas? If I have to, I can still use my windows laptop.
TIA

Thanks, but it started giving me additional problems like error 5100? (print cartridges not right) when they had been fine. I've boxed it back up and am getting a replacement. I am hopeful that the next one will be better. I've been using various canon printers for the last 20 years (not to mention the various cameras back to the 80's), so I hope that confidence is justified.
