Hi thaley46201,
Thank you for the image, it shows that the magenta is not printing correctly.
The next step would be to perform printhead cleanings.
Please follow these steps:
1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time.
2. Repeatedly press the right arrow to select Maintenance and press OK.
3. Repeatedly press the right arrow to select Deep Cleaning and press OK.
Perform that two times and then print another Nozzle check. If the magenta still does not print as a solid pink bar, please perform a deep cleaning:
1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time.
2. Repeatedly press the right arrow to select Maintenance and press OK.
3. Repeatedly press the right arrow to select Deep Cleaning and press OK.
After that cleaning is done, please print a Nozzle check.
If magenta still does not print correctly, the next step would be to perform an Ink Flush:
To perform an ink flush, please follow the steps on this page:
G5000 series > How to Do Ink Flush
After completing that, please print another Nozzle check. If the issue persists, please clean the encoder:
Cleaning the Encoder (Timing) Strip - G5020
If after all of those methods do not get magenta to print correctly, your PIXMA G5020 would require service.
