MX922 printer trouble

I'm fighting that 1403 code that says my print head is not the correct one and to install the correct one.  Well, I installed a new print head and that didn't change anything, still got that 1403 code.   I even installed new ink cartridges along with that new print head with no good results.  So, what do I do now?   Any help would be appreciated.

Since the error did not clear, your MX922 has experienced an internal hardware issue and would need to be replaced. 

You would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Sorry, your Canon printer is now sitting in my dumpster waiting for pickup.  I've already replaced it with an Epson EC-4800.  No more Canon products for me.  But, I do thank you for the offer.
