I just got a new computer with Windows 10. I've tried hooking up my printer to work wirelesssly and it's just not cooperating. The scanner works wirelessly, but not the printer. I've tried using the "Standard" method a few times to connect without a cable. I've tried a couple of times with the cable. The address is the same on the computer and the printer. The printer recognizes that there's a wireless option but it just won't connect.
HELP!

Hi DebraStitt,
Please follow these steps:
1. Please press the MENU button on your PIXMA MX922.
2. Use the down arrow to select the wrench and screwdriver icon and press OK.
3. Use the left arrow to select Device Settings and press OK.
4. Use the down arrow to select LAN settings and press OK.
5. Use the down arrow to select Confirm LAN settings and press OK.
6. Select WLAN setting list and press OK.
Please write down the SSID that appears. Next, use the down arrow to view the IPv4 Address and write that down as well.
On your computer, in the lower right hand corner next to the time, click the box to the right of the time. A menu will appear. In this menu, at the bottom, click on "Network".
The network that your computer is connected to will be listed as "connected, secured". Is the name of the SSID that you wrote down match exactly with the network that your computer is connected to?
If so, please follow these steps:
1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter R, then let both go.
2. In the Run window that appears, please type CMD and click OK.
3. In the Command Prompt window, please type:
PING xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
(Please replace the x's with the IPv4 address that you have written down from your MX922. For example, PING 192.168.1.3 or PING 10.0.0.4. The numbers are whatever you wrote down before)
4. Once you have typed that, please press the Enter key on your keyboard.
Did you get:
A - Timed out
B - Destination host unreachable
C - Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0

Thanks for your response. I got "C"

Halleluja!!! It finally worked. I did all of that same setup several times today to no avail. What I didn't do was uninstall and that might have made all the difference. I wasted a whole day trying to get this to work. LOL
You are my hero! Thank you so much!
Debra
