MX870 and Windows 11. Will print, but not scan.

Has anyone had any luck getting the mx870 to scan in Windows 11?  Printing works just fine.  TYIA.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MX870 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

I can’t specifically help with your printer, but if you can’t get help look into VueScan by Hamrick Software.

Hi. This happened to me also.  I found a Microsoft free app, Windows Scan, and downloaded it.  Now I use it to scan documents on my MX870.
