I'm trying to scan a few documents as pictures with my Canon MX472 and it's scanning my document in sections. For example, instead of scanning the entire document as one photo, my document gets split into two or three different pictures. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey Rchey, looks like you got a lot of help here? I have the same issue. It would be nice if Canon supported their products, but unfortunately they sell them, but they don't support them.

Model G3270, Windows 10, Using IJ Scan Utility. Scans a page into three separate images. Mostly on text pages I want as a jpg file.

If your Canon MX472 scanner is splitting a single page image into multiple sections, there are a couple of settings you should check to resolve this issue.
| Setting | Action Required |
|---|---|
| Auto Crop | Disable this feature in settings. |
| Preview or Scan Images as Separate Files | Turn this option off in Scan Settings. |
By making these adjustments, you should be able to scan your images without them being split into multiple sections.
To disable Auto Crop on the Canon MX472 scanner, you need to adjust the cropping frames in the scanning software. In the preview area, you can manually set the cropping frame size or clear the auto-crop frame to scan the entire document

Hi jamespel,
When using the IJ Scan Utility, are you clicking on the Photo button? Or are you clicking on the Document button?
Also, if you click on ScanGear, are you able to scan the text page and save as one jpg?
