MP470

My MP470 will scan but will not print from any computer. Could the USB cord be bad ? I got it used so it’s a possibility that it’s old. The computer will say that it has completed the print also ... has anyone else experienced this?

Please attempt this test:

 1.  Please press the Menu button on your PIXMA MP470.

 2.  Use the < (left) or > (right) cursor button to select Maintenance/settings, then press the OK button.  The Maintenance/settings screen is displayed.

 3.  Use the < or > button to select Maintenance, then press the OK button.  The Maintenance screen is displayed.

 4.  Use the up or down button to select Nozzle check, then press the OK button.

 5.  Use the up or down button to select Yes, then press the OK button.

Were you able to print a test page?

What version of Windows is installed on your computer?

If using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?

I realized it is because I don’t have internet wifi at the moment and it is not fully set up on my computer. I am getting wifi at this location in a few days and I will try again to print from my laptop.
