MG5422 printer not responding

I have a MG5422 wireless printer but it doesn't work properly. I have reinstalled the setup disk as well as the online software and driver. It still gives me an error message that the printer is not responding. I was going to connect to the computer with a usb cable but don't find the port on the printer.  Where is it? I would use this but my desire is to use the wireless function.

The USB port is located on the back of the printer.  It has an icon that looks like a pitchfork.  However, if you would like to use the wireless option, we'll be happy to help!  Please reply to confirm the version of Windows or Mac you are using, and we can explore this further.
