MG3620 and LIDE 210 co-exist - can they share software?

I have been using a Canon LIDE-210 for some time (love it!).  Just bought and installed a PIXMA MG3620 (printer works OK as far as I can tell, except doesn't wake up from sleep when new print job submitted - see other post).

Is there any way I can use the LIDE-210 software (MP Navigator EX 4.0, I think) with tthe scanner on the MG3620?  So far, I do not like the MG3620 scanner software - it doesn't do what the older software can do...

Hello.

The MP Navigator cannot be used with the MG3620.  In order to scan with the MG3620, the IJ Scan Utility program will have to be used.
