My MG3522 will scan preview but will not scan print. It causes the computer to lock up and I have to reboot to clear. I have reloaded the printer software to no avail.

Hi dennis777,
What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
If you are using a Mac, what version of OSX is installed?
Are you using your PIXMA MG3522 with a USB cable or are you using it wirelessly?
Are you using the IJ Scan Utility?

I am using windows 10, 2021-04 update.
My printer is connected wirelessly.
I am using the IJ scanner Utility with Open Office Writer Version 4.1.9

Hi dennis777,
Please follow these steps:
1. Please click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner of your computer's screen
2. In the menu that appears, click on the Canon Utilities folder
3. In that folder, click on the IJ Scan Utility
When the IJ Scan Utility opens, is the "Canon MG3500 series Network" listed at the top?
If so, click the DOCUMENT button. Does an error appear? If you get an error, what error code appears at the bottom?
