MG3520 frozen!

I have tried everything but the printer is frozen.  None of the buttons are responsive to touch.  The power light is on and the light next to 4x6 photo paper. I can not turn the machine off by holding stop button (it does not flash orange).

Any ideas? I think the machine may have died 😞

My fantastic MG3520 is dead except for the Photo Paper light. I can not connect to it from my laptop.

I've tried the following and seen no change:

1. I've unplugged it for several minutes and plugged it back in.

2. Pressed on/off and even held it down

3. Presses Stop and even held it down

4. I've tried to takeout the cartridges (one is new), but they're not in a position to be removed so I've jiggled them the best I can without causing damage

Hi,

I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

If that does not resolve the issue, the printer would need to be replaced. If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
