Using my MG7100 series and printing on PT101 Gloss give a magenta cast over entire print.
If I print to PP-201 gloss, print color is fine, but I lose out on the rich blacks.
Makes no difference whether I am printing out of Lightroom, Photoshop or Canon DP4.
The color match settings in printer setup are 'none' which should indicate the driver is 'off' and LR or PP have control of the print.
Using latest printer software from Canon website.
It almost seems the printer canont handle top quality paper. Can anyone help?

Does the printer have an option for Platinum Pro in the paper type selection?

At a loss then.
Call Canon support line. I have always found them very helpful.

Once again, thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunately, the Canon support line here in Australia is located 'off-shore' and doensn't enjoy the same reputation as yours in the U.S. - I even had a problem getting information on a sensor clean for my 7D.
I really appreciate your efforts at assisting with this matter.

Mr. Hoffman, I may have 'fixed' the problem.
I found another page in the printer setup called Print Options.
options include:
Disable ICM required from application software.
Disable the colort profile setting of the application software.
- By disabling these, the magenta cast is removed.
I have always had 'None' selected in the manual color Adjustment - understanding that this disabled the printer calibration and passed management over to PP, LR or DP4.
Canon is delightfully vague in exactly how to disable the printer management settings! If only they would state exactly how to hand all color management to the users software.
Is what I did really a fix - or is it a bandaid? I am not sure, but it seems to work.
