I’m trying to setup my PIXMA g3202 (no screen) printer with a
new wifi connection. I have changed to optic internet.
I cleared the old connection settings and entered the easy wireless connection mode.
Then I started the setup software. It started communicating with my printer via a cable
but after a while, I got the message below.
What is the problem? Please advise.

Connecting to Windows 11? What model of laptop? Does it have an ARM processor?

I'm using windows 11 on an hp spectre. No ARM processor. After my post I ran win-g3000-1_2-n_jucd.
with usb and the wifi light won't come on. First I ran it with wifi and it couldn't find my printer..
The printer works with usb connected.

A usb/printer cable is a lot less trouble than wifi, no issues with loss of signal and jobs backing up etc. I suspect that your Wifi network is not broadcasting a 2.4ghz signal which your printer requires. Your new network router should have that ability. if it cannot broadcast 5ghz and 2.4ghz at the same time I would not change it to the slower 2.5ghz, I would stick with the cable connection. My home network wireless broadcasts at 5ghz at up to 1gig and 2.4ghz at the same time, but my two Canon printers are connected to my computer by cable.

Before I switched wifi our speed was just 3mbs and the printer worked with wifi,
Now we have 300mbs. Shouldn't that work?

Hello!
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your printer. Since you've gotten a new router, you'll have to re-install the software to re-pair your printer with your computer. The easiest way to do that is to visit https://ij.start.canon/g3200 from the computer you want to print from. The website will walk you through the process of reinstalling the software, and re-pairing your printer.
If you try that, and still need help, you'll find all your support options within your Canon account at https://canon.us/account
If you are outside the USA, please click HERE to find support options for your country.
Thank you, and have a great day!

300mbs is the speed of the router not the signal frequency which has to be 2.4ghz or you printer will not see the wifi at all.

I see. I'll find out what the frequency. is.
