I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what I may have missed in trying to setup the C2550 to work with either Gmail or Yahoo email. I've gone into the level 2 service mode settings page and tried specifiying port 465 and then also 587 as the SMTPTXPN number.
In the admin console I'm specifying smtp.mail.yahoo.com as the SMTP server and using SSL along with the credentials of the Yahoo account I created.
When I attempt to send a scan from the copier it fails after a couple of attempts. Is there a log file in the copier that I can look at that will tell me what is happening when it attempts the transmission?
Thank you.

Hello, TechRooster!

Is there a different "community" forum for Canon copiers? Your canned response does me very look good, but thank you. There is no way I'm going to re-enter a maintenance agreement on a copier for this issue.

I am having the same issues. Did you ever find an answer? Ours even worked at one point, but suddenly stopped. And you're right about the maintenance agreement. Copier maintenance agreements are legalized theft.
