I saved some images in tiff format but printer will not recognize that format. Any way to correct?

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know which Canon printer model you have, exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof), and which applications you're trying to print from. Does the .tiff file open correctly on your computer? If so, the printer doesn't care what kind of file it is.

The computer is not sending the actual .tiff file ( or .jpeg or whatever) to the printer. Translating a file to something the printer understands is the function of the printer driver installed on the computer.

Do other image files, .tiff or otherwise, print correctly?
