I have an MX472. After 4-5 minutes on a call the fax starts.

I have an MX472.  After 4-5 minutes on a call the fax starts.  I have manual/auto switch off.  User friendly RX is also off.  How do i stop the fax from picking up automatically after a few minutes?    I do not have an option for remote code.

Hi mschindl,

To try and resolve the issue, please ensure that the receive mode on the unit is set to TEL PRIORITY and leave the Manual/Auto Switch set to OFF, but turn the User Friendly RX setting ON. You will also want to disable the Remote RX setting on the unit (the default setting is ON) by following these steps:

1. Press the Setup button.  The Setup menu screen is displayed.
   
   
2. Use the button to select Fax settings, then press the OK button.
   
   
3. Use the button to select Adv. FAX settings, then press the OK button.
   
   
4. Use the button to select Remote RX, then press the OK button.
   
   
5. Use the button to select OFF, then press the OK button.
   
   
6. Press the fax icon to return to standby mode.
