I had a paper jam in the upper tray which was corrected but the error message for 1313 does not clear. The Pimxa MX922 is completely unusable with the error message displayed. All suggested methods of clearing errors given on line do not work for this error. I have made sure that there is no trace of paper that could be construded as a jam left in the printer. What's next?

Your response was simply to remove a paper jam. My question was: after the paper jam has been cleared how to remove the error message 1313 so that the printer becomes usablle again.

Hi jeraldcb,
After following the steps to clear the paper jam and the 1313 error persists, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.

Thanks for your reply Patrick. The MX 922 printer is not worth the cost of taking the printer to a service sender for returning to Canon since it is out of waranty. If a solution is possiblle at a service center then it is possible that I could also perform the necessary steps to restore the printer to being operational again. If the solution is confidential information then I will have to disassemble the printer and try to diagnose a solution on my own and then throw away the junk parts if I can't.

I have the 1311 Error. I fixed the jam, an no paper is left behind. The printer is useless now. It was brand new when this occurred. I've heard of doing a roller cleaning but the printer has a one track mind to fix this jam.

I have a TS8220 that got locked into registering a paper jam when there was none. I never identified what was wrong, but finally got it working again. Remove the back panel and green cartridge thing. Then use the cardboard back of a notebook pad and force it through to where the print head is. Pull it back and forth a few times. That cleared the error for me. I assume there must have been some sensor or something that was dirty and the cardboard helped clear it. I first tried using just a piece of paper, but you could not force it through the rollers, so used the back of the notebook pad.
