Hello
I was troubleshooting my Canon Pixma MX922 for a 600 error code when I accidentally hit the timing strip and the whole strip popped off of the printer.
I need detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to replace the timing strip in my printer.
I attempted to replace the timing strip myself, but I cannot get into the printer in order to figure out where the left side of the strip attached. I cannot seem to remove the scanner glass and the motherboard is also stuck in place regardless of how many screws I remove (all of the wires are still attached to the board). My hand can barely fit through the front access, and I have no idea where the left side of the timing strip connected to in the first place.
Please help. In attempting to fix one problem, I managed to cause another.
