GX7040 lines of lined paper are misaligned on duplex printing

I'm printing a lined-paper on B5 paper, the lines of the front page are not aligned precisely with the back pages. This happens even when printing notebook paper from templates using duplex printing.

Here is a picture demonstrate the issue.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings,

It appears that the printing is straight but that it does not align with the printed lines on your B5 paper?

Start by ensuring that the paper settings are correct on the printer's control panel and in its print driver.

What application are you printing from?  If the margins set in that software do not match the margins in line spacing of your paper type. The printer will not print according to the lines on your media.

Hi, Rick

Thank for your reply, it is not regulated to the B5 neither to my software because it is the same issue when printing from the printer directly on A4 paper using the predefined templates.

Nevertheless, I'm using libreoffice writer on linux debian.

If you’re printing lined paper and want consistent results, check your printer settings carefully, match the paper type, run print head alignment, and set quality to high. Margins and scaling in your document matter too, especially for duplex printing.
