I recently reinstalled my Windows 7 operating system. I would now like to install the printer drivers for my Pixma G3200. I am connected to the printer via USB. During the installation, it says "Caution! Cannot detect the printer." and the driver installation fails.
I've unplugged the printer power and USB cables, rebooted both the computer and the printer a couple of times. I've disabled wi-fi on the printer. I've tried installing the full driver and software package, as well as attempting to install the drivers alone.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi hamsandwich72,
Starting with Windows 7, Microsoft got a little aggressive with installing printer drivers. Let's reinstall the drivers one more time by the numbers.
Scroll down to "Optional Drivers."
Click “Select” next to "G3000 series MP Drivers."
Press "Download."
Open and run the file.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
Additional programs listed under “Software” can be installed the same way.
