Lately when I scan a document and save it as a PDF file the print is so faint I can hardly read it. When I print it it is still faint and barely readable. I haven't messed with any settings or changed anything.
If anyone can help me fix this, I'd appreciate it.
I am using Canon Pixma MG2120.

My MX922 scans documents in color PDF’s too faint.
My MX922 copies the documents in color OK, so it’s a software problem.
I can correct the color with scangear by just selecting image corrections: "Apply auto document fix". but this fix is only temporary and is very slow scan process from the PC only.
I couldn’t make “auto doc fix” permanent for all color document scans from the printer
My work around when printing the faint scans is to increase the print intensity ie.:
print -> properties -> ‘Main’ tab -> color intensity manual -> Set: To +50 and decrease the contrast -20 or to suit.

found a solution using “IJ Scan Utility”
in auto Scan -> settings -> select from printer icon -> apply recommended image correction in auto
In document Scan -> uncheck “compressed scanned image upon transfer” and then select “Apply Auto Document Fix”
