PIXMA G620: colors reversed and very faint

When trying to print a copy of a document. The copy being printed is coming out with the colors reversed.and very faint. The text is white the background is gray. When it should be a white background with gray boxes and black text.

When you say copy,  scanned directly from the scanner function to the printer using copy mode or a copy scanned to your pc?
