Failing to Print Message when trying to print, Canon MG3600

I went to print out a application i need to fill out and the printer will not print, my laptop keeps showing failed printing. The printer has paper, no jams, and just changed the ink cartridges. I was wondering what i could do for this and if this is an issue other people are having. I even tried to factory reset it and it printed out a network configuration page.

Greetings ,

I believe the MG3600 is a series, not an actual printer MODEL.  Can you identify the actual model of your printer for us please?

How is the printer connected and to what?

What operating system are you using the printer with?

Have you installed drivers?

The model is the Canon PIXMA,  the printer is connected to wifi/USB via my computer. I print all my documents off Chrome OS usually. Im unsure how to install drivers as im new to having a printer.

The printer should have a number,  Pixma MG36xxm for example,  th MG3620 which I own. All MG series should work with a Chromebook and this is the detailed guide to set your up for printing and scanning with a Chromebook.
The guide has two methods, try the first one.

Hi, BRichardson2025!  We still need the exact model number.  You'll find it on the front of your printer at the lower right corner.

We look forward to your reply with that information!
