Envelope jammed...PIXMA MG2522

radiodon

I tried to print on an envelope and apparently I put it in the wrong way. The envelope is stuck and I don't know how to get it out. I also tried to call product support, and for some reason they cannot recognize either of the two telephone numbers I entered when I registered. Can you please help me?

Thank you John, but here's the problem: its not a standard piece of paper. If so, I would have seen it where the paper comes out.  It's a 4x6.5" envelope. I see the top of the envelope but I don't see the rest.  I might be able to use tweezers, but I don't want to damage my new printer.

I don't think that you read the situation correctly. The problem is not with the printer itself or the ability to print. The problem is that I have an envelope that is stuck in the printer and will not advance. I am trying to get the envelope out. Once the envelope is out I can print properly again. It has nothing to do with a USB cord or anything like that it does have to do with a dumb owner who did a dumb thing and now he's trying to correct it without destroying the brand new printer that he got.

Hi radiodon,

To remove the envelope from the paper feed, please follow the steps on this page:

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ErrorCode/MG2500%20series/EN/ERR/1300.html?ref=1300

If you are unable to access the envelope in that location, please follow the steps on this page to remove it from inside the printer:

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ErrorCode/MG2500%20series/EN/ERR/err_other0100.html?ref=err_oth...
