I have bought a Canon MG 5250 all-in-one. The problem is that the printer uses the ink even without printing because of the auto cleaning process of the cartridges. Is there anyway to disable this process in order to save ink?
Thank you.

Hello.
Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the cleaning cycles that are used by the unit. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Put the printer in Pause Mode or OFFLINE mode. The print jobs will appear in the que and you can print them when you wish als at once. Thereby minimizing the frequent Auto Clean Cycles. Turning the printer off only delays the clean cycle until you turn the printer on again.
