I'm not sure exactly what is happening. I have canon printers as windows shared printers. I was using the DIAS for years. Lost power and now I get "Could not get device information" when I click on "get status" or print and put in our department code. I have uninstalled DIAS and reinstalled it to no avail. I have restarted the service and I have disabled my firewall on the Windows Server. SNMP is not enabled on the port.
If I do this from the Windows Server it works. If I connect to the printer directly from a workstation and it works fine. It only fails using the windows shared printer. If I turn off the accounting it works fine so the Windows share is good. I do know DIAS is the culprit just not sure why its failing.
Windows 2008 R2 Server
Windows 7 x86/x64 Clients
Canon ADV C7260, irC2880, & ir7095
Thanks. Shawn
