I have replaced the ink cartriges  and i still get the low ink/out of ink warning. the black ink show low and the color in says it is out. what do i do to reset those two warning lights?

Hi RJW702,

Are you using genuine Canon ink cartridges?  If not, replacing the ink cartridges that you are using with Canon ink cartridges will resolve this issue.

If printing is in progress and you want to continue printing, press the printer's Stop button for at least 5 seconds with the ink cartridge installed. Then printing can continue under the ink out/low condition.

The function for detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled.

Replace the empty ink cartridge immediately after the printing. The resulting print quality is not satisfactory, if printing is continued under the ink out condition.
