When printing docs from computer it sometimes cuts off the top portion of the page. Also when copying docs putting on glass pane it cuts off as well. The rest of the doc is fine. Getting messages on the panel that paper isn’t correct for 2 sided printing, etc (when I’m using regular letter size paper correctly loaded and have done this for years).
I’m guessing it’s an alignment issue but I’ve never seen this before.
Any help is appreciated.

It may be a dirty paper feed roller, it starts printing before the paper is all the way in position. You can run the clean roller program as described here:

Thanks for the suggestion. I cleaned the roller as suggested however it temporarily fixed the problem but it started again.
Any other ideas?

As its happening with printing and copying I definitely think its a paper feed or sensor thing rather than a software issue. It's probably worth also having a quick look at your paper size settings on the printer itself as those spurious warnings about 2-sided printing do suggest it may be struggling to detect what kind of paper it has.
