Hi,

So we can best assist you we will need to know the support code. The alarm lights will flash for a certain number of times and then pause before flashing again. After the pause, please count the number of flashes and let us know.

Once we have that information, we will be able to narrow down the possible cause of the error.

We look forward to your reply.

The white and yellow lights flash 12 times.   Suddenly stopped printing. No paper jam.

It looks like the printer has experienced an internal hardware issue and would need to be replaced.

You would qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
