PIXMA TS6520 Color cartridge won't remain locked in place

I can get the black ink cartridge to lock into place and stay, but the color ink cartridge won’t remain locked into place. Anyone else have any similar issues? Just took the printer out of the box today. Ordered from Amazon.

I’d double-check that the color cartridge is the correct model and properly aligned with the slot. If it still won’t click and stay in place on a brand-new printer, it may be a defective cartridge or cartridge holder.

Do you still have the older cartridge? If it locks in you certainly have a defective new one.
