My Canon Pixma MX922 was printing just fine and I printed a bunch of worksheets out. I'm a homeschool teacher, so my printer gets used a fair bit. I was in the process of prepping work for the summer. During one set of worksheets, I ran out of ink. I replaced the PGBK cartridge and after that is where my problems began. My pages keep coming out like the one in the picture. I've gone through all the cleaning and maintenance steps. Nothing seems to be resolving the issue.
I still have three complete sets of ink so I really hope I don't have to replace this printer. Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Decreta,
Based on the example that you provided, it would appear that the encoder inside of your PIXMA MX922 is in need of cleaning. To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps outlined in the following Knowledgebase Article available from our web site:
https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART142447
Please throughly clean the encoder and then attempt to print. If the issue persists, please clean the encoder again.
If cleaning does not clear up this issue, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.
If your PIXMA MX922 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below:
