So last night at 3am in the morning my pixma mx495 starting switching itself on and of solidly for 20 minutes non stop before i unplugged it. Tried it again today and doing the same thing.
I have tried doing anything with the printer itself and wont let me press any buttons all that is displayed on the screen of the printer is canon. I discovered that this only happens when it is connected to my router. Has anyone had this happen to them and how they fixed the problem currently it wont wirelessly print as the moment I connect it to the internet/router it goes back in the loop using a usb cable and a fresh canon software install it drops connection after 5 mins of trying to connect to the printer via cable.
