Pixma 490 Turns on by Itself at 4 am

For the past 2 nights, I have been awakened out of my sleep by printer turning on by itself. The printer will act like it’s about to print something and I can hear the rollers turning, but nothing will print out. The printer will not stop doing this continuous cycling until I unplug it.  I don’t know if this is some kind of update, but it starts at 4 am and will not stop unless I unplug it.

Yeah, there's some sort of bug with these printers.. If WiFi is turned on, the printer tries to connect to it, and then power cycles. I tested turning off my WiFi network, and it boots up, but is basically useless because I don't have the ability to connect it via USB to a computer.
