Hello everybody! A few ago the printing quality decreased unexpectedly, with black text getting pretty unreadable.

I attached a picture. Thanks in advance for any advice!20151108_162520.jpg

Hello,

Unfortunately I haven't found a solution to this problem. My encoder strip is also clean. Please reply if you manage to find a fix. I will do the same!

Have a great day!

I have the same here in UK.

The printer was working OK when suddenly this problem of double characters started.

I have gone through all the cleaning processes but still no joy....print head adjustments, cleaning heads and rollers.

We have had a prolonged period of sunshine - shining on my computer near the window - I wondered if that could cause the problem??

Hi!

Thanks for choosing Canon!

WHilst I understand your response - at the end of the day I have a MG6350 - the same as those on the forum.

My nearest service is 200 mile round trip - the cost of fuel in the UK is same a new printer purchase.

So please advise how I can overcome the double characters in my printer - as the others on the firum.

Many thanks

John
