I have a new Canon PIXMA TS8351 Series inkjet printer that won't pick up my laptop when on scan settings, only my husband's. I've removed the old TS6200 Series printer that we used to have. I can print to the printer but not scan. Interestingly, when I click on the Canon IJ Network Scanner Selector EX2 icon on my task bar, only the old scanner comes up.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and rebooted.
Any ideas how to rectify this?

Hi there.
So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know more information.
What is the exact model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit)?
Do you see any error messages?
Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?
Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

So sorry! I normally do. Half asleep. 😊
W10. Printer model TS8351a. No error messages, it's just not listing my laptop on the display screen. Connects via WiFi which is functioning. I found a dropdown on the printer's settings on my laptop which said to get the scan driver app. I did so and rebooted but no success. My husband, also on W10, didn't need to do this.
