I bought a 40$ replacement cartridge for this **bleep**e. It will not recognize it.
I tried everything that I found online. Cleaned printing head mutliple times etc, did not help.
Oh well, I don't have a printer any more.
Today I needed to scan something - and it will not scan! Because it has "cartridge not recognized" error even with cartridge removed!
Do yourself a favour, don't be an idiot like me. NEVER buy this Canon **bleep**!
I'm going to smash it with a pickaxe on the weekend, at least will get something out of it.
