Please try these steps:
1. Right click your desktop and left click on New folder or New and then Folder.
2. Name that folder Scans.
3. Open the IJ Scan Utility and click the Settings button in the lower right.
4. Click on Document Scan on the left side.
5. On the right, in the middle section, you will see "Save In". Please click that drop down, browse to your desktop and select the Scans folder that you had just created.
6. Click OK, you will return to the IJ Scan Utility main view.
7. Click the Document button on the IJ Scan Utility to begin scanning.
