Canon MP490 Printer Jammed

I have had a Canon MP490 for a long time and never had problems using it. Now I can't print anything because the printer is jammed. Any helpful suggestions on how to clear the jammed paper so I can start printing again?

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MP490 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
