Can XL cartridges be used to replace the regular size 251 cartridges, in the MX922 printer?

Yes, the XL versions of the CLI-251 ink tanks can be used in the printer to replace the regular size ink tanks.  The only difference between the regular and XL versions of the ink tanks is the amount of ink contained in each ink tank; the XL ink tanks contain more ink.  If needed, inks for the printer can be purchased at the Canon eStore here.
