CANON MX920 STOPPED PRINTING BLACK TEXT (PGBK)

My Canon mx920 suddenly stopped printing black text (PGBK).  However, it passes all the maintenance  tests.  It prints the PGBK grid perfectly.

Any ideas?

Yes, that page printed in black.

Did you assume my last response as to whether or not that particular page printed corretly to mean every page is now printing correctly?  Because that is not, and has not been the case.  They're still printing mostly in a red shade.

Hi kmelichercik,

If the grid on the nozzle check is black but when you print from the Mac everything is red, then I recommend removing the printer from Printers and scanners and then Click HERE to access the most current driver available.

Once you have reinstalled the drivers and added the printer back on to the computer, please try to print again. Is there still red on the paper? If so could you take a picture of the paper and attach it to your reply.

I am having the same trouble. All colors printing except black. When the nozzle cleaning print, the grid does not show. I printed the LAN and got a blank page. Really could use your help. Thank you.
