Brand new PIXMA TR8620a making clicking noises and wont print

I bought a canon pixma TR8620a wireless inkjet printer Model: 4451C032 SKU: 6494259

I set it up, connected to wifi, and connected to my app, but every time i turn it on, it makes a lot of clicking noises, and when i attempt to printer, it won’t. Doesn’t even feed the paper through, restarted multiple times. How do i fix this?

I am assuming you verified that you removed all the orange shipping tapes. Since it is brand new I would return it for a new one.

I agree with jrhoffman, make sure all the tape is removed and also make sure you have the paper loaded correctly.

All tape was removed. Is there anything else that could possibly be wrong? Unfortunately i threw away the box.
