Hi Benman2020,

Does this issue only occur when making a copy or does it also occur when printing as well?

If the issue only occurs with the copies, try cleaning the platen glass on the unit to resolve the issue.

Addjitionally, perform a bottom plate cleaning.  To do this, please follow these steps:

 1.  Click on Start and then Control Panel.

 2.  Click on Printers and Faxes.

 3.  Right click the PIXMA MG4220 Printer and left click on Properties.

 4.  Click on the Maintenance tab.

 5.  Click on the Bottom Plate Cleaning button.

Follow the prompts to complete the cleaning.

Once done, attempt to print/copy.
