Where to get EOS Utility for MacOS 15

pjforshort

I've used EOS Utility in the past but it stopped loading with updates to my Mac OS to 15.2. I deleted the Utility app, updated my OS to 15.3 and downloaded the new firmware for EOS. I updated the firmware on my Rebel T5 but don't have a new EOS Utility. Searches for it on the Canon download page only return the firmware update. The software on the CD that came with my T5 isn't compatible with my OS. Does this mean there isn't a version of EOS Utility that will work with Mac OS 15? TIA!

Your T5 needs to use the EOS Utility 2.  It will not work with version 3.

Ok, thanks, but where can I download it? It isn’t listed when I search for it and it wasn’t included in the firmware download that was recommended in search results.

Can someone please answer the topic question? Where can I get EOS Utility for MacOS 15???

Where?  You have been looking at it the entire time.  The EOS Utility 2 has not been updated for several years.  This is why it isn’t listed for the latest OS releases from Apple.

If it isn’t listed for your current OS , then you need to try older operating systems that were in use around 2015 or so.  The EOS Utility 2 was discontinued well before the first Apple M1 chips.  Around 2017, maybe?

I don't think it is available for macOS15. The last version of macOS that showed a download for EOSU2 was Ventura.

Thank you for your answer, which was actually helpful. For anyone else who needs this, you can find it using the dropdown for Mac OS Mojave v 10.14. but not Ventura. I'll update if it works on my system or not.

The T5 uses EOS Utility 2.  That app is no longer compatible with the late Apple IS versions.

All the apps have been consolidated to this page: EOS / PowerShot / SELPHY Apps & software

When you load the page it should recognize your OS and supply the supporting applications.
