Hello Community,
I've developed an application which automatically takes a photo. I am using EDSDK 13.14.40, .Net framework 4.8 and C# with Eos 1500D on Windows 7/10. Camera is connected via USB with PC.
Everything works quite well but we have big issue:
If EOS utility is connected with camera then my application cannot connect with the same camera and vice-versa. I've to run and connect the both software at same time with camera. I have no idea how I can do this?
I would really be glad if someone of you give us a hint or an idea what else I can do.
Thanks
Prem

There is nothing that you can do about it. Only one app at a time. This should have been documented somewhere in your SDK.
Even the Canon EOS Web Cam Utility requires for the regular EOS Utility to be shut down.

Thanks a lot sir for your reply. is there any other way to connect both the apps? i.e connect EOS utility via Wi-Fi and My app via USB?

“There is nothing that you can do about it.”
Only one app at a time can communicate with the camera via the USB port.
