Hi All-
First post, hope someone can help me. I have an EOS R, shooting in RAW. When I import photos into my iPad using Canon Camera Connect, they are imported as .JPGs. How doI import them so they remain RAWs? Also, I just installed and registered Canon DPP. Many of the adjustments are greyed out, when I attempt to edit using them. I am guessing it is because they are .JPGs and not RAWs. Is that correct? Thats for any and all help.

Greetings Zeldon50,
The functions you're describing for DPP are grayed out due to those functions only working with RAW files. On the Canon Camera Connect app, click on the option to import your images after the app is connected to the EOS R camera and tap on the gear icon on the top right corner. In the "Camera image list settings" where it would list the option for "RAW image save format", the app may be set to JPEG format and tapping on that option would allow for you to switch to RAW format.
