Thumbnails Blurry In Digital Photo Professional 4. All the files are jpegs which I have had for quite some time. Acdsee shows them clearly. I checked under preferences but I don't see the option to increase the clarity.

What happens when you change the thumbnail size, does the large thumbnail size emphasize the lack of detail?
I am not aware of any commands in DPP that change the resolution of the thumbnail image.

Hey peeps..just one more thought that I wish to share, adding to what Rodger mentioned, blurry thumbnails in DPP might be due to the software generating low-res previews for faster loading. One thing you could try is updating DPP to the latest version if you haven’t already, as updates sometimes fix rendering issues. Another option is to re-index the folder in DPP(just remove and re-add it.) It forces the software to regenerate the thumbnails, which might help.
If none of this works, it might just be how DPP handles JPEG previews. You could stick with ACDSee for thumbnails since it seems to handle them better."
