Powershot ELPH 530 HS won't connect to Canon Camera Connect App, Help!

Hi there,

Hoping to get some help attempting to download images to my IPhone 13 from my Canon Powershot ELPH 530 HS. The last time I used this camera was probably 2022 and had no issues downloading images to my IPhone at the time. When I try to connect to the app, first off, there's no camera option for my model to register the camera prior to connection. When attempting to register by selecting a similar model Powershot ELPH 360 HS, Powershot SX540 HS, Powershot ELPH 350 HS, PowerShot SX530 HS, I get to the point where it says to open the dedicated app, it starts connecting and then connection fails. 
Just wondering if this is an app issue, an outdated software/firmware problem, a 2.4G vs 5G network issue, or just that this function no longer works for this old camera.

Hi 35sparkles,

Unfortunately the PowerShot ELPH 530 HS is not compatible with the current version of the Canon Camera Connect app, so you will not be able to connect your phone and camera. To import your photos and videos we would recommend using a card reader to import them to a computer.
