Hi.
Why is the Lens Calibration Tool not working anymore on EOS 7D? I have also EOS 5D mark3 and the Lens Calibration Tool software is working OK. Upon connecting the camera to the PC and running Lens Calibration Tool software, I found out that all my saved lens profiles in 7D were deleted last week. I cannot save or choose any lens for my 7D, now it is all greyed out. The Lens Callibration Tool software is version 1.12.10.2.
Regards
Mark

Greetings Endvatripet,
I was unable to locate any current available software on our website for a Lens Calibration Tool. You may review available software for the EOS 7D camera on the product support page for the camera:
https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/eos-7d
In case the software you are referring to is third-party software, then we recommend to please reach out to the developer of the software for assistance.

Hi Product Expert for Canon NatalyaP.
You can learn more about Canon Lens Registration Tool and how to use it here in this link:
https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART107736
When I connect my EOS 7D to the Canon EOS Lens Registration Tool to register lens aberration correction data for my Canon lenses, the software communicates with the Canon server and then your server deletes my saved data lenses on my camera. Why?
Best Regards
Mark

Are you sure things are happening as you describe?
Using DPP or the Lens Registration Tool downloads lens data to your computer. It doesn’t connect to the camera (at least when I use it).
Uploading lens data to camera is a separate step. It doesn’t need an Internet connection. Try shutting off your Wi-Fi before trying to upload to camera.

Hi Legend
Read the manuals first, before posting nonsense. And there is no need to delete any more my posts. This forum is just fake. Best Regards Mark
