Image.cannon videos not syncing with Google Photos

Hello there

I have image. Cannon set up, and it automatically syncs my photos. It works well and is reliable. I am using a Canon M6 Mark ii.

Videos do not work. They get sent to image.cannon, I can view them on image.cannon, but they do not sync with google photos. 

• I have tried using various search parameters on google photos to check if I just don't see them. 
• I have tried linking and unlinking Google photos 
• I have tried to force the videos to sync individually, but nothing happens. 

Any ideas?

Is anyone syncing videos through image.cannon to Google photos successfully?

We can't guarantee that videos will sync up with Google Photos. That connection to Google Photos is optimized for photos, not videos.

You could try connecting your account to Google Drive or YouTube to have more options for syncing your videos. Look for those options on the right side of your page after you log in.
