I have some minor problems with the camera connect app. When the camera goes in to energy saving mode it disconnects from the Camera Connect App. It doesn’t automatically reconnect. I have to get the phone out of my pocket and wake it as well. I would imagine a large number of iOS users also have Apple Watches.
Please consider adding App support for the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch has built in Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS so it should be possible. It would be very helpful to have at least a shutter release button and geotagging features on the watch. The watch would be in closer proximity to the camera 95% of the time and would allow for quicker reconnects.

Greetings,
An Apple watch connects to an iOS device and utilizes its capabilities. The watch itself pairs to the iOS device. The watch's proximity to the camera doesn't matter because the phone is connecting to the camera not to the watch. As an alternative, you might want to consider an IR or remote Bluetooth shutter release.

Does the Apple Watch not have the ability to connect directly to a Bluetooth/Wifi enabled device like a Camera? I’m more concerned with having a more seamless application of Geotagging than a remote shutter release. If the camera goes to sleep and wakes I have to reconnect. Sometimes missing the Geotagging in quick reaction shots. If it could be directly connected to the watch, the watch is always awake and reconnect without having to get the phone out.
